Seersucker Blazer (H&M, $41)

Can't help it. I like the season change that seersucker represents and how it wears. Wish I was somewhere which I could slip into my favorite blazer and take in the town square (say Ashville NC, Rome GA,)

  2. L says:

Belle! Can you also please post something like this for men?? The salmon colored pants, whale ornamented belt, seafoam shirt, searsucker jacket, bowtie, and boat shoes thing MUST be regulated.

  3. terri says:

OMG – L!!!!! I had forgotton about this near blinding fashion crippling practice by the guys.

  4. kate says:

Can this be purchased at the US H&M Stores?

  5. kz says:

I'm pretty sure lining seersucker with polyester defeats the purpose of seersucker, which is to be slightly cooler in a southern summer.

As for the commenter that mentioned the salmon pants, whale belt, and seafoam shirt, I think you must have just passed a guy I used to work with 😉

  6. Sophiegoose says:

Ugh I can't wait to see what you come up with, I've never gotten it!

The Find: A Striped Tee

Without question, the most worn item in my wardrobe is a black-and-white striped tee. I wear it in winter under sweaters, in spring with white jeans, in summer with black shorts. I’ve been wearing the same one for years (it’s the best). But they don’t make it anymore. So here are some options for replacement.

The Find: Like a McCall’s Pattern

When I was young, my Mother used to bring me along when she would go shopping for fabric. As a result, I spent a lot of time, killing time, flipping through pattern books. So when I spotted this dress, I was instantly transported to the pattern table at a Jo-Ann Fabrics.
