Dot Cutout Pencil Skirt (White House, Black Market, $118)

A basic black pencil skirt is a wardrobe essential, but sometimes, it can be a little boring.  This skirt is modern take on classic polka dots.  Instead of a dot print on the skirt, the overlay is laser cut to look like dots.  Perfect for the office, this skirt adds a bit more style to warm weather days.

Loft has pretty much the exact same skirt being released soon too, except it will cost less, probably in the 79.50 range. The same material is also coming out in a pair of shorts there too.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
