It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
Asos has the cutest capes—unfortunately I tried ordering their military cape last month and not only did they totally lose my order, but they took so long to reply to my customer service request (note that they don't have a phone number you can call) that by the time they confirmed that they had lost my cape, they no longer had it in stock.
This was a 5 week ordeal and I am still without a cape.
HORRIBLE.
