Ladies and Gentlemen, our Recess Week has come to an end and our bosses will return on Tuesday. If that’s not reason to drink, then I don’t know what is. May Heaven have mercy on our souls as we trudge through the legislative marathon that may or may not occur between now and August. Bottoms up!
Foley + Corinna Corset Dress (ShopBop, $475)
1 oz. Cîroc Vodka (25 oz. per bottle)
1 dash(es) Grand Marnier (25 oz. per bottle)
1.5 oz. cranberry juice
.5 oz. fresh lime juice
1 mint leaves
1 oz. champagne
Shake Cîroc Vodka, Grand Marnier, cranberry juice and lime juice over ice
Strain into a chilled champagne flute
Top with champagne
Garnish with orange twist
Tell me that doesn’t look refreshing. I think I need one right now. Hopefully, the bartender at Bullfeathers can oblige. Just kidding.
