White House Correspondents Dinner Fashions: Part II

May 3, 2010

Kim Kardashian is well known for her perfectly applied makeup, but this look raised some questions.

1) How much false eyelash is too much false eyelash?

2) How on Earth does she get her undereye makeup so perfect?

3)  Am I wrong, or is Kim slowly morphing into Catherine Zeta-Jones?

  1. Belle says:

Hey, I’m with you. But don’t blame Kim, blame whatever journalistic outlet invited her. It’s like the nerds opportunity to hang with the cool kids and have the cool kids beholden to them for a night. Like if you could invite your favorite famous person to dinner and they had to come.

    Frankly, it’s funny to me.

  2. EAC says:

Belle, I’ll just have to throw up my hands and repeat to myself, “Don’t hate the player, hate the game”.

How can she blink with those things on?

  6. A says:

I wonder if Kim Kardashian can name a single Cabinet member.

  7. Sarah says:

Next big question: why on earth would she even be invited??

  8. District Cut says:

By Catherine Zeta Jones what do you mean?

  9. EAC says:

I am so tired of these folks who are “famous” for absolutely nothing. LIke “A” asked, why was Kim even there?!

  12. Natalie says:

Oh my goodness. She looks gorgeous in this picture. Her eyelashes are a bit intense, I will agree, but I think she looks classy. I also agree that she looks very similar to Catherine Zeta Jones. Wow.

  13. Anna says:

I didn’t recognize her at first glance. Her undereye makeup reminds me of the pageant make up The Perfect Face.

I love stocking stuffers.  They are the best part of Christmas.  There’s just nothing quite like an affordable gift that’s funny or useful or chic (or maybe all three).  So here is Part One of my stocking stuffer gift guides, where nothing costs more than $30.

In the name of fiscal responsibility, I’m taking a shopping respite through the end of the year.  When you write a fashion blog, not shopping is like being a person on a diet who moves into a McDonald’s.  But I’m determined to flex some self-discipline now that my holiday shopping is done.

Add to Cart: Five Recent Amazon Purchases

Since my daughter was born, Amazon has claimed so much of my money that I had to buy stock just to get some of it back.  Between the formula, onesies, fruit pouches, diapers, wipes, and ever evolving list of baby development gear, I could not survive without Prime.   My husband no longer notices the […]
