BPGP: Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic

Apr 1, 2010

When you start interning on Capitol Hill, you start sleeping less and eating whatever cafeteria food that you can grab in between tours.  Translation: you develop under eye circles and acne. Welcome to the workforce!

To conceal these new skin ailments, Benefit Cosmetics created Confessions of a Concealaholic ($36).  The booklet contains everything that you will need to make your skin look flawless, no matter what lurks underneath.

Erase Paste is a pinky-colored under-eye corrector to hide those dark spots.  Lemon Aid is a yellow concealer that goes on the top lid to provide the perfect canvas for eye-shadow.  And Benefit’s amazing Eye Bright highlights in the hollows of the eye to make your eye color pop.  And if your skin still needs a little brightening, That Gal! is an illuminating primer that will give your skin a dewy glow.

Benefit also provides two different shades of their amazing Boing concealer so that you can mix the colors together to find your perfect shade.  Using the two, double-sided brushes to apply the product also ensures perfect application every time.  Think of it as a tutorial in how to conceal your flaws.

So if you need to look well-rested at work (and not like you were out all night at the bars), pick up Benefit’s Confessions of a Concealaholic.  It has every thing that you need to create a flawless face with minimal effort.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
