Spring 2010: Five Purses You Can Actually Afford

Mar 16, 2010

A purse is more than just a receptacle for your belongings, it’s a style necessity.  This Spring there are many gorgeous bags to choose from, and if you look around you can find one that suits your taste without breaking your budget.  Here are five of my favorites.

Wave Pattern Chain Bag (Arden B., $49)

This bag can be carried as a tote or a clutch making it a dedicated multi-tasker.

Big Buddha Mia (Piperlime, $85)

Yes, this bag is a Valentino knock-off.  But three women I know own this purse and none of them seem to care.

Front Pocket Satchel (Melie Bianco, $89)

A vibrant blue handbag in a simple, slouchy shape.

Patent Leatherette Tote (Forever 21, $25)

Need an all-purpose beach/travel bag, then this tote is it.  Trimmed in bright colors and washable, you can take this bag anywhere.

Trokey Satchel (Aldo, $50)

This cognac Chloe knock-off is the perfect neutral bag.  It also has some lovely extra touches that more interesting than your average mall bought bag.
