The Find: Cap Toe Shoes

Mar 7, 2023

Pre-pandemic, I was planning to buy a pair of Chanel cap toe slingbacks. Then, I put on a pair of slippers and didn’t take them off for two years. ????‍♀️  But that doesn’t mean that I forgot of these chic, classic shoes.

A black cap toe on a tan shoe is a versatile option for work attire or casual looks.  And as we move in to warm weather, these pumps and flats are great for the seasonal transition.  Here are a few styles worth considering.

These Marc Fisher Cap Toe Slingbacks have a great look.  They’re comfortable, easy to wear and can be dressed up or down.  Did I mention they’re also under-$100?

Want a premium shoe at a discounted price?  Stuart Weitzman offers these cap toes for half price.  They are the perfect shoe for spring and summer dresses.

I own these Linea Paolo Flats.  They took a few weeks to break in, but they’re fantastic with jeans or black pants.  I also wear mine with suits when I plan to do a lot of walking.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
