<$30 Gifts: A Hair Trimmer for Guys

Nov 16, 2021

During the early days of the pandemic, getting a haircut was nearly impossible.  I could trim my splits and my bangs myself, but my husband was at a loss.  By the end of week four, he looked a bit like a yeti.  Until we discovered this magical device.

Most hair trimmers and shavers sold out quickly.  We found this electric trimmer from Micro Touch hidden in the far reaches of Amazon.  The shaver allowed him to keep his neck and his sideburns trim, which made a big difference.  Once the pandemic was over, he kept using it to keep his cut looking fresher, longer.  This would also be a good gift for a man with a beard, who needs to keep the edges looking clean.

For ladies, I recommend the Finishing Touch facial shaver.  It’s small, easy to use, and does a great job on those pesky chin hairs that emerge in your late-30s.  (Which are just so wonderful, I love the effects of aging.)  It’ll also trim up the area between your eyebrows with ease.

Trimmers like this make good stocking stuffers.  They fall into that category of gifts you didn’t think you needed, until you use them.  Then, you tell everyone.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
