The Find: The Warmest Jacket, Ever

Nov 25, 2020

It’s been an incredible chilly fall.  Staying warm while walking the dogs or doing yard work is a constant struggle.  But this jacket is the warmest one I have ever owned, and I find myself reaching for it constantly.

I’ve posted this coat once before, but it’s saved me so many times this fall, I felt it deserved another go around.

This Amazon Essentials Heavy Weight Puffer Jacket is absurdly warm.  It is water resistant, and fleece-lined.  There is also a stretch cuff with a thumb hole in case you forget your gloves every time you take your dog on a walk (Hi, it’s me.).

I owned it in white (don’t ask, I didn’t think the purchase through), and then upgraded to the simple black.  Sizes run XS to XXL.

Frankly, I’ve owned a lot of winter coats over the years.  This one is the warmest by far.  And at under-$60, it’s a steal.

Thank you!!! I’m pregnant and don’t fit in my trusty winter coat. I didn’t want to spend a lot, and was dubious of a cheaper coat. Plus the red is such a great red!

Love the don’t ask about the white coat. I want to be that woman who rocks all the gorgeous outfits with white jeans. But 6 kids, a red wine drinker, and a tendency to be clumsy, “don’t ask” made me laugh.

I bought this when you posted it last year… but now I’m thinking I need the red. Thanks for the reminder!

Ooooh, that dark camel color is nice, scratches a weird browns/mustard itch I’ve had all fall/winter.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
