WFH Items: Tops for Zoom Calls

Apr 10, 2020

Every time I have a video call, I’m work attire on top, Lululemon on bottom.  So on Tuesday, when I realized that the sweater I wanted to wear was dirty, I reached for a bold floral top with puff sleeves.  And, girl, did it look good on Zoom.

That’s when I realized that wearing something with a little more pop — whether it was color, pattern, or style — really gave me a boost.  Not just my appearance, but my mood.  So I went searching for some under- $125 tops that will look great in person and on video conference calls.

AT Striped Jacquard Mockneck ($90 + 50% off)

AT Floral Belted Wrap Top ($80 + 50% Off)

FRNCH Ditsy Print Blouse ($50)

Pleione Short Sleeve Blouse ($28)

Rosette Peplum Top ($70 + 40% off)

Eloquii Surplice Faux Wrap Top ($29 with code YAY)

DR2 Flutter Sleeve Blouse ($29)

Banana Republic Floral Peplum Top ($80 + 50% off, also in petite)

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
