The Find: A Pastel Sweater

Jan 24, 2020

The spring styles are rolling in; our early January shopping purgatory is over.  Regular morning posts will return next week.  But for our last solo post, how about a sweater for late winter and early spring?

This Line & Dot puff-sleeve sweater is a great piece for bridging the gap between winter and spring.  It is warm enough for winter, but the pale blue hue is very fresh and ready for spring.  I also really like the feminine shape of this sweater with the nipped waist, the light peplum, and the dramatic sleeve.

As for how to wear it, how about a high waist navy skirt or a high waist grey trouser?

If you love a pastel sweater, Iris & Ink has a beautifully simple and elegant blush sweater.  This Mango sweater is an affordable opportunity in a pretty pink.  Banana Republic also has a simple v-neck (also in petite) in a soft mint color.

Plus-size?  Try this puff-sleeve Stella & Dot sweater or this lavender Modcloth cardigan.  Tall? Try this ASOS pale purple sweater with a balloon sleeve.

The Find: A Versatile Sweater Jacket

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.
