While browsing Pinterest, I found a link to Cosmopolitan’s selection of 15 Christmas Cocktails.  The one above is called The Mistletoe and contains Svedka cherry vodka, tonic water, a splash of sour mix and a rosemary and cherry garnish.  Plus, it has a fun name.

Whether you’re having a fancy holiday dinner or you’re just looking for a warm, chocolate cocktail to drink on Christmas morning, check out Cosmo’s list and find the libation that suits your plans.

Laundry by Shelli Segal Block Lace Sheath Dress ($225)

How phenomenal is this dress?  I love the lace accents on the shoulders and sides.  Need a similar look for less?  Single has a grey cap-sleeve dress and an ivory sleeveless dress with black lace accents.

Also check out this Ann Taylor rose-colored halter dress with black lace print (50%-off Ann Taylor), and this all-white lace mini-dress from Cameo.  And if you’re looking for long sleeves, this DvF dress is one of the most beautiful cocktail dresses that I have ever seen.

Prefer a full lace dress?  This backless lace dress from Alice + Olivia is pretty special.  I adore the color of this raspberry boatneck Ralph Lauren dress.  Arianna Papell also makes the best mid-price lace dresses, I like this pleated black dress with scroll lace and this scalloped lace dress in dark teal.

Need something under-$100?  I like this one-shoulder white lace dress from Topshop and this mixed media lace sheath from Kohl’s.

Plus-size? Have a look at this white INC lace dress and this Betsy & Adam fit-and-flare dress.  Petite? Try this gilded lace yoke dress from LOFT and this Tadashi Shoji dress that comes in many colors.  Tall?  L’Wren Scott’s collection for Banana Republic has a lovely lace dress.

How would you style this white dress for winter? I have a similar dress for new years – black opaque tights with black heels feels harsh with the soft lace.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
