I’m struggling with the fact that it’s almost Christmas. This year came and went on a rocket ship. And while I feel like the holidays crept up on me, there are a few things on my list this year.
One. Desk Accessories // Notsu makes lovely desk accessories that are chic and useful. This To-Do List box is a fantastic gift for a coworker, a friend, or an employee. They also make minimalist planners, calendars and the like. Gifts work for both men and women.
Leather pads for the desktop are always a good gift. I own this extra wide version.
Two. Handbags // This Veronica Beard small lock bag is a great option for women who need a bag that holds a decent amount but isn’t a large tote. Veronica Bears has a lot of great bags including this Goodie Bag and this Dash Bag are both phenomenal choices.
Looking for something great that costs a bit less? This soft suede tote looks like a Khaite bag and is surprisingly well made and usable.
Three and Six. Jewelry // This emerald eternity band from Aurate is a lovely piece. Real precious metals (gold plate on silver) and real gemstones for under-$200. I also love these drop earrings with pearls and emeralds.
These molten moonstone earrings from Missoma are a great, modern piece that will add instant flair to any look. For a more subtle look, these $119 hoops are a great option. Missoma is one of my favorite jewelry shops. The pieces are always wearable and chic, but also well priced and quality. I just bought myself these “tennis” hoops to give the studs I wear every day a break.
Four. Beauty Stocking Stuffers // Need stocking stuffers for the ladies on your list? L’Occitane hand creme is one of those gifts you can give anyone. I have one in almost every purse. It’s a luxe gift with a light price tag.
Summer Fridays lip colors are a great stocking stuffer — both the Dream Lip Oil and the Butter Balm. I also like these Touchland Hand Sanitizer sprays (great scents). These Topicals under-eye masks would also make a great stocking stuffer.
Five. Board Games // Have a lady on your list who doesn’t really need anything? These board games from WS Game Company come in the most amazing decorative boxes. Get all the classics in one fell swoop. (I admit it, I might buy these for myself because they look so gorgeous on a shelf.)
As for other games, I’m told by friends this is the best set of Mahjong tiles you can get for under-$100. For a stocking stuffer, these LouLou Baker watercolor playing cards are gorgeous. Also, if you have grandparents or parents who love to play card games, upgrade them to the Prestige cards from Bicycle.
Seven. Candle Accessories // Scent is so personal, that I don’t like to buy people candles for gifts. But candle accessories? That’s another matter. This absolutely gorgeous electric lighter would make an incredible gift. Also, as always, these Luma & Co. cloches are one of my favorite things I own. All sizes. So pretty.
