I wasn’t on the Internet much this week. I was on Instagram even less. But here are a few things I found while waiting to pickup takeout, killing time between CLEs, and distracting myself from all the stuff I definitely should have been doing instead.

I love Instagram accounts that teach me things.  Style by Claire Lopez has a lot of fantastic tutorials and short videos about how to make the clothing you already own look better.  She has a great one on “dressing yourself taller,” which is geared toward petite women, but the tips also worked for me.

This CNBC article blew my mind and blew up my group chat.

I was searching for something to bake for Easter and came across this Pecan Braid.  You can make it the day before, bake it morning of, and it’ll be cool and ready to eat when you come home from church.  Plus it looks absolutely incredible.

Planning on doing some summer travel?  Points Path is a Chrome extension that compares flight prices in both cash and miles to tell you which is the best deal.  It’s a great tool for those of us who rack up miles traveling for work and want to know when the best time to use them is.

Ina Garten is wonderful.  Her recipes are wonderful, esp. her country cake with whipped cream and berries.  And her Spotify dinner party playlist is wonderful, because of course it is.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
