The Range: Comfortable Sweater Dresses

Jan 22, 2024

A sweater dress can work for the home office, casual Friday, relaxed dinners, or Sunday services.  The a-line shape gives you the coziness of a sweater dress with a bit more give (and who couldn’t use a bit more give during the winter eating months).  Here are a few in different price points.

Corner Office

IRIS & INK Olivia Sweater Dress ($173)

Cubicle Farm

LOFT Boatneck Flare Sweater Dress ($99)

Front Desk

Old Navy Fit & Flare Maxi Dress ($25) (plus-sizes avail)

That corner office dress is gorgeous and looks so put together

How does a sweater dress seem to have structure? I do not know, but it does.

I bet you could belt it or use a blazer to break up the continuity here, but I would simply pass on this one.
I stay away from this type of sweater dress, as I don’t think it would be super flattering on my body type (athletic and muscular).
