There’s nothing like losing a week of your life to a disease you weren’t smart enough to get vaccinated against.  It was my punishment.  I deserved it.  But it did give me some time to window shop.

How cool are these New Balance 327s?  Yes, I am completely aware of the incongruity of saying the pinnacle Dad sneaker is cool, but the color palette, the retro styling, everything about these is chic.  They’re also under-$100 and selling out fast.

I’m sad that I didn’t know about the early-80s styled Tupperware at Target.  These storage containers in ombre colors would have made a fantastic gift.  I don’t think I’ll be able to stop myself from buying this Barbie-pink set.

Ba&sh is one of my favorite lines.  The styles are easy to wear and always in style.  They’re end-of-season sale is worth a look.  This sweater-dress.  This very cool blouse.  This ladylike cardigan-jacket.  I’ve been so good about not shopping this month, but the extra-20% off on that cardigan pulled my debit card out of my wallet.  If you need a few new pieces that can do work or weekend, this is the time.

My daughter has taken to carrying around our tap lamps.  As expected, one of them got smashed into the floor with enough force to smash it.  This has created an opportunity to replace them with something sleeker.  I think I’ve settled on this tall drink of water.  I also like this lamp that looks like it belongs in a library with leather-bound books.
