50% Off Weekend Essentials from Old Navy

Mar 28, 2022

Old Navy is one of the best places to buy casual attire.  From athletic wear to easy basics, you can find affordable pieces to wear to work on Friday or in your off-time.  Old Navy is offering 50% off site wide until March 31.

The look of late-80s Ralph Lauren is back in style for summer.  This striped cardigan is a great way to find a trendy piece that will still be wearable in the future.  (Tall, petite, plus.)  Try it with a pair of white jeans.

This sunny little wrap dress is the perfect dress for weekend brunch and errands.  It just feels so pretty and bright.  (Tall, petite.)

The chino shorts have a high waist and a 5″ inseam.  The back of the shorts is elastic to give them a forgiving fit.  The shorts come in eight colors, both neutral and vibrant.  (Plus-size, up to 4x.)

Several pieces at Old Navy come in this fun wildflower print.  I like this crewneck, tiered dress (tall, petite).

A good denim jacket is a must-have.  Old Navy makes a solid, affordable option.  Want a lighter wash?  You can have a classic denim wash or a light, distressed look.  (Tall, petite, plus.)

This striped poplin shirt is light and breezy.  Wear it under a navy blazer to work or with shorts on the weekends.  It’s a great piece for spring/summer.  (Tall.)

I’m only seeing an automatic 40% off. Is there a code for the 50%? Thanks!

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

The Find: Shirts That Don’t Gape

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The idea seemed brilliant, but at the time, my bust didn’t require an extra button. One baby later, I understand the need for some extra security.

The Mondays: March 18, 2024

This weekend was a tricky one. The warm weather and bright sunshine of last weekend disappeared in a flurry of wet snow trapping our very active 18-month-old in the house with us. Plus, our babysitter cancelled, so neither of us feels ready for the week ahead. But in between making mac-and-cheese and watching Aristocats for […]
