For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.

Without question, the most worn item in my wardrobe is a black-and-white striped tee. I wear it in winter under sweaters, in spring with white jeans, in summer with black shorts. I’ve been wearing the same one for years (it’s the best). But they don’t make it anymore. So here are some options for replacement.
I love the Commando faux leather leggings! They’re a little tough to get on but super comfy once they are.
Second the Commando leggings – I just ordered them from Nordy’s and they are fab! They do run small though so definitely size up.
I have the Spanx faux leggings (they’re not on this list but are pretty popular) and love them. My favorite thing about them is that the seams are on the sides, not down the middle, so there’s no camel toe when I wear them with a shorter top or sweater. Price point is comparable to Commando.
How do you like to style these? I could see them for a night out, but lord knows we haven’t had a ton of those lately.
I really like them with a chunky sweater, I’ve been wearing that when I go to a friends house (my main type of socializing these days).
I like them for jazzing up sweaters. They make a simple black sweater look really cool.
Has anyone tried the Wilfred Free ‘Daria’ Legging from Aritzia? I have a few pairs + I’m curious as to how they compare to the Commando leggings.
