Long Read. Who Shot Walker Daugherty?  (Another excellent piece from Texas Monthly.)

I own these Jeffrey Campbell rain boots, and they are the best.  Comfortable, solid, and stylish, they look great with leggings, jeans, or dresses.  They’re perfect for commuting in wet weather.  And did I mention that they’re only $40?

I posted these two years ago, and we sold them out of their stock.  That’s how good they are.  I wouldn’t sleep on these if you want them.

I bought the shoes on your recommendation, Abra – and I second the endorsement! I’ve been happy with them, and it’s nice to have an option that doesn’t scream RAINBOOT from 50 yards away.

Hi there! About to hit purchase on the rain boots, but some of the reviews say they’re not really waterproof. What is your experience? I’m hoping to wear these for rainy morning walks.
