It’s time for fall colors — rich Earth tones, bold yellows, muted greens — and I could not be more ready. Ann Taylor has some fantastic tops in these hues and others, but here are five of my favorites.
This Floral Shirred Blouse has a really unique, modern color palette that is perfect for fall.
This Ruffle Trim Blouse is the perfect thing with jeans. It has a slight Western-wear vibe that I connect with, but it exudes that win an approachable, subtle way.
This Floral Smocked Neck Top would look amazing with a black business suit. You could also wear it with a black pencil, tights, boots, and a cardigan in any of the fabulous colors found in the print.
The marigold color on this Shirred Blouse is sublime. It’s my favorite thing on the Ann Taylor site right now.
The Easy V-Neck Sweater Tunic is the sweater of your loungewear WFH dreams. It easily shifts between casual and professional, and it looks great either way.

loooved that white western top and that marigold top. great picks, ann taylor is killing it lately!
Thank you Ann Taylor! I am so grateful “she” is leaning back into bold colors. I wore their clothes for work consistently in the 2000s until the colors were all neutrals, and mostly the kind of neutrals that made me look like I’d just thrown up. Not everyone looks good in pinkish beige.
I had that exact marigold shirt in 1972, which I wore to high school with a plaid skirt. It was a great shirt then, and it is still a great shirt now!
