Choosing a gift for Mother’s Day is rarely easy. What do you get a person who just wants to see you, hear from you, and spend more time with you during a pandemic when visits are non-existent or few?
A small useful gift is usually the way to go for Mom. So I pulled together five fabulous gifts — all of them under-$75 and most under-$30 — that any Mom would be happy to receive. And if you buy one for yourself, that’s okay too.
Creative Co-op Terracotta Dish // There are only 19 of these lovely, versatile terracotta dishes left in stock. I use mine to hold jewelry, bathroom litter (hello, bobby pins), desk clutter, and other little items that need to be corralled. They’re one of the best things I have ever purchased, so if you miss out, be sure to sign up for a notification when they come back in stock.
Food52 Calamondin Tree // Calamondin has the easy peel flesh of a mandarin and the tangy taste of a kumquat. The trees thrive in sunny indoor spaces, so you this countertop-sized tree is perfect for a kitchen or dining room. It’s cheery addition to any space.
Siblings Candle Making Kit // Whether you choose Fresh Fig and Sandalwood, Bergamot and White Rose or another incredible scent, these candle-making kits would be a fun gift for the Mom who likes crafts. Or you can choose the path of least resistance and send one of my favorite candles in Peruvian Lime.
Moonlight Short Pajamas // These are my favorite pajamas. So soft. So comfortable. Don’t wear out in one wash. Like a cozy hug at the end of the day. They also come in a version with pants, a sleep shirt, and plus-size.
Saks Off Fifth Paperclip Bracelet // These wide-chain bracelets are everywhere right now, but you can’t usually find one as nice as this one for under-$20.
Have a great Mother’s Day gift idea? Leave it in the comments.
