I love French Silk pie.  It’s one of my favorite things.  This French Silk Slab Pie from Cooking for Keeps is definitely worth saving.  I would add a layer of fluffy meringue or a scented whip cream, but even without it, it looks delicious.  Hopefully, we can serve it at backyard barbecues this summer.

Great read and worth the time, Ultimate Gaslighting.

  2. Meghan says:

That Gaslighting article… WHOA. Also, shines a light on some things I don’t love about my own habits, but so important. Thank you!

  3. kara says:

I cracked up at discovering your partner’s ‘work persona.’
My husband at the beginning of quarantine couldn’t believe my work style. I extremely laid back in my personal life, but at work I have about 50 people most in their early 20’s that work under me. He has never heard me having serious business conversations. Now he calls me a badass.

  4. JJJ5 says:

The Gaslighting article is great food for thought…

  5. Anna c says:

That Gaslighting article… Whew. Lots to think about there.

  6. Evelyn says:

The article about gas lighting touched my soul. I have a lot of friends who make the comments about “when everything gets back to normal”. I have to tell them that no, we will not be going back to normal but that we will be moving forward to a different kind of normal. I always seem to get a stony silence from them.

What was really disheartening for me was some of the contents in response to the article. I wonder if some of us are intent on history repeating itself. I know that I won’t let things keep repeating in my life.

Add to Cart: Five Recent Amazon Purchases

Since my daughter was born, Amazon has claimed so much of my money that I had to buy stock just to get some of it back.  Between the formula, onesies, fruit pouches, diapers, wipes, and ever evolving list of baby development gear, I could not survive without Prime.   My husband no longer notices the […]
