The Find: Slim Joggers

Mar 25, 2020

In the world of casual attire, joggers exist between leggings and sweat pants.   They feel a little more polished than sweatpants and offer a bit more comfort than leggings.   Here are several slim-fitting pairs that are a bit more flattering than the strongly tapered options.

I just got some joggers from universal standard and I LOVE them. They’re $70 so a little more than some of the ones on this list but I have no regrets: https://www.universalstandard.com/products/hathaway-jersey-jogger-pants-black

Agree, the universal standard ones are the softest ever. They are a staple for me. I’d actually order more if they would add some other colors.

My favorite joggers are the Restore Jogger from Athleta. Super soft! And on sale currently.
Now that I have “daytime joggers” and “nighttime joggers” I found myself placing a nearly $200 order on Athleta last night…

I’ve tried on the Align Joggers in the store. IMHO, they are not joggers. They are leggings with a drawstring. They’re cute on, but if you truly want joggers, you probably won’t be thrilled with these.

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

The Mondays: March 18, 2024

This weekend was a tricky one. The warm weather and bright sunshine of last weekend disappeared in a flurry of wet snow trapping our very active 18-month-old in the house with us. Plus, our babysitter cancelled, so neither of us feels ready for the week ahead. But in between making mac-and-cheese and watching Aristocats for […]
