Is it too early to start thinking about boots? Not if you want the best selection of styles, sizes, and colors. Is it too early to start wearing your new boots? Definitely.

I really like this set of boots!
I would love it if you would do one of these for oxblood/burgundy boots. I have been looking for some to wear with navy suits in the fall/winter.
@RKT – I bought Everlane’s Boss boots in burgundy last year and could’ve worn them every.single.day. Turns out burgundy goes with most everything and the profile on these is so sharp!

Those look great. Thank you for pointing me to them.
Has anyone tried Tecovas yet? I know they have some in that gorgeous congac color.
Julia, I LOVE my tecovas. I have the short pair. They are extremely comfortable. I will say, they are great with jeans, but hard to dress up for work, because they are loose around the ankle. I am thinking about purchasing the taller riding boots. My step-son has a pair too, and the quality is great for the price. Also, be aware they are more of a natural, unfinished leather, so they scratch, but I think this gives them character. I am actually looking forward to mine becoming more worn.
Oh, great feedback! I was leaning towards the taller boots to wear with dresses and tights. Thanks to you and Alexis for your input!
I own a pair of the shorter cognac Tecova boots as well (wearing them with jeans today, actually) and I LOVE them. I was a little uncertain but my experience with them mirrors those I saw online. They are so comfortable (even from the start, I didn’t have issues pulling them on the first few times as others did) and they have required almost no break-in. I’ve been wearing the heck out of them all summer with sundresses, jeans, skirts, etc. Agreed they’d be difficult to dress up though.
Small but important — the heel is rubber-capped, so they aren’t making clunky or clompy noises when I walk, no matter how clumsy I am sometimes.
For a lower heal alternative I fell in love with the Comfortiva Cordia boot last year, perfect height for my ankle jeans with no weird scrunching or rolling, and super soft comfortable leather. Nordstrom has it in several colors, but I have it in black and caffe and they are extremely versatile boots!
Can you show some examples of how to style these beautiful boots?
Same – I’ve had a similar pair of Bandolino boots for years and I can’t figure out how to style the tall shaft cognac booties, at least compared to my lower shaft black booties.
Any flat or low heel cognac ankle boot recs Abra??
I think low boots are out – taller ones like these are in.
