Workday Reading

The Edition: No. 93

The boisterous sea of liberty is never without a wave. — Thomas Jefferson

Glossed. The Lipstick I Wore to My Divorce. (Must read.)

Follow Up. This Sulwhasoo serum lipstick in deep berry or soft rose, both amazing shades.

Stereotyped. Women candidates are still seen as being too emotional.

Beached. Excited about my new pool hat and cover-up.

Appeared. Why influencers are going “authentic.”

Worked. Nordstrom Rack has new office-appropriate dresses.  This $35 ruffle-hem dress is a steal for spring.

Achieved. Why success doesn’t always feel successful.

Warmed. Faux-fur throws have become my go-to housewarming gift.

I had no idea they carried Sulwhasoo now at Nordstrom. Their skincare is divine, though I can usually get better deals with direct-from-Korea suppliers. $38 for a lipstick is hard to stomach, but it’s definitely a luxury product…
