I just ordered this shirtdress from J.Crew during their most recent sale: https://www.jcrew.com/p/shops/40offselectstyles/dresses/tiewaist-shirtdress-in-endonend-cotton/J5419?color_name=peri

I’m wondering, with shirtdresses like this, would you use the belt it comes with or swap it out for a different belt?

I always struggle with wrap or other dresses that come with a matching belt whether its better to use that one or change it up.

There’s still snow on the ground here in Chicago- I busted (back) out my real boots and gloves again yesterday. It seems like it’ll be ages til we get to wear any of these gorgeous dresses!

    • Kelly says:

I got caught without boots in Milwaukee this weekend as several inches of snow slush accumulated. I know spring is coming, but I can’t quite believe it yet.

  3. Crystal says:

Looks like the NA-KD is sold out in every size. 🙁

  4. Courtney says:

the eloquii dress is see-through. gorgeous, but clear as a windowpane. just a heads up for those wanting to give it a shot.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
