There cannot be a crisis next week. My schedule is already full. — Henry Kissinger

Raised Up. Women do ask for more money.  They just don’t get it.

Wrapped. This $30 skirt from Rack is a chic update to a simple black pencil skirt.

Redecorated. Small space design ideas for apartment dwellers.

Organized. Need bathroom storage? Try a beauty cart with built in plug-ins and some chic Yamazaki storage baskets.

Equalized. What would a world without sexism look like? (I would no longer get asked if I am my boss’s spouse at events.)

Nostalgic. Caboodles are back.  And every little girl I know needs one.

Kissed? Would you ever sign off a work e-mail with “xx”?  Some people do.

Woven. These natural baskets in large or medium are perfect for decorative storage.

Un-Gapped. Adidas announces it will pay male and female soccer players equal performance bonuses.

Summered. Mix this Gibson top, white denim, and this wood clutch for the perfect resort wear/summer date night attire.

Prepped.  A beginner’s guide to meal-prepping. (Try these glass containers.)

It’s almost barbecue and potluck season.  (Don’t @ me, I’m trying to think of summer, as I am trapped in unending winter.)  My biggest crowd-pleasing, easy dish is this Hot Mexican Corn Dip.  It’s easy, requires only a few ingredients, and is very tasty.  I like Cilantro, so I always add more.  And don’t forget to bring a few lime wedges for a burst of bright, fresh flavor.

I love that corn dip. I eat it on EVERYTHING. It’s great with eggs for breakfast, on greens for lunch, etc. etc. 🙂

From the Raised Up article… “women are more likely to be refused or suffer blow back for daring to broach the topic”

    Of course. Cue inner rage.

*runs upstairs, rummages deep into closet, finds purple sparkly caboodle, proudly displays on counter*

*remembers that I’m 36, throws entire thing into the trash*

*buys three tiered cart and baskets from blog post*

    end scene

How can I get the hot corn dip recipe? I do not have a facebook, or Pinterest account?

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
