The Range: Mauve Jeans

I know it’s tough to think about in January, but spring is coming.  For a casual wear transition piece, how about a pair of mauve jeans.  Wear them with chunky sweaters now and sleeveless tanks later.

I’ve been thinking about what to add into my work wardrobe now that I can wear jeans, these might be perfect. I was thinking grey jeans but mauve is way more interesting.

Mauve is a hard color to pull off for a lot fair-skinned women. I’d suggest ensuring it works with your skin tone so it doesn’t look too fleshy. (You know yourself and style better than I do. Speaking only from experience seeing some women try this and fail.)

Can you share some different ways to wear this color? Different color pairings for tops and shoes/accessories? I bought some pants like this this week and I’m a little unsure of how to mix it up into my wardrobe. I’ve so far only worn it with black (crazy!).

I really like this idea, and agree that I would love to see it as part of an outfit! I can only think of cream and navy as good pairings at the moment.

Charcoal grey, olive, eggplant, black, and tan would all work.
