This weekend, I started the long process of organizing closets and drawers. Many black trash bags were filled with detritus. Many boxes of donation items are on their way to the Union Gospel Mission. And many things needed to be organized in a way that allows them to be moved.
These gray storage containers (there are two in the photo, one with and one without the window) are wonderful. They’re deep, more rectangle than square. The lids are also attached and fold-over, so you’ll never lose them. $18 for two.
I also like their soft bags for under-bed storage of linens and sweaters. And I use their drawer dividers for socks and undergarments.

I’m in the middle of moving. Props to you for organizing now instead of later. It’s terrible but I know I won’t be able to itemize this year so I’m saving all my donations until January 1.
The NYT “Work Friend” is hilarious! Thank you for sharing.
