Commute: No. 25

“Your time is limited. Don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” — Steve Jobs

Boundless. How to create boundaries with employees, because sometimes hierarchy can be healthy.

Simplicity. A simple sheath — like this navy Maggy London or dark floral Ralph Lauren — is a busy morning lifesaver.

#DoItfortheGram What it can cost to be a social media star bookended with how one woman’s quest for Instagram stardom ruined her financially.

Flashbacks. Were you a teenager in the mid-1990s? You need this. Or the grown-up version.

Canned Answers. Have you been fired?  Here’s how to talk about it in a job interview.

Enrobed. This simple, dotted H&M bathrobe is my new favorite thing.

Tutelage. Meet the tutors to the ultra-rich, and hear their unbelievable true stories.

Let’s Make a Deal. Need some cool, cheap jewelry? This Argento Vivo long pendant necklace is $10.  These Nadri half-moon studs are $15.  And this black bead chain necklace is $8.

That’s Sticky. Ask a Boss: Does networking have to feel so slimy?

Suited for Change. I wish I could pull off this hot pink suit at work.  But instead, I’ll go with the slightly puffed sleeve on this discounted Rebecca Taylor.

Power Up. Women need to stop asking for permission to be in power; here’s how.

Save Your Shoulders. I am loving this zip-front sports bra and this Champion convertible sports bra.  So much easier to get on and off.

What I’m Watching. The new Queer Eye (for the Straight Guy).

Which Mask I’m Using. This $3 charcoal mask I found at Target.

What I’m Making for Dinner. This Korean-inspired meatballs and noodles.

What I Didn’t Know I Needed. This personalized handwriting necklace with my Nana’s signature.

HAHA I literally just donated one to Goodwill this weekend. So embarrassing. I’ve had it since my youth and the contents have shifted from tween makeup to actual adult makeup.

Queer Eye is SO good and uplifting!
