I hope you provide a review of Cosrx’s pore diminishing serum. Pores are something I’m constantly trying to address, but have not found anything I like, so far.

  2. mascot says:

Re: 8: If that doesn’t work out, I’ve had good luck with the Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid. Regular use (4-ish nights a week) has really diminished the sebaceous filaments in my pores. I also like the Banila Zero Purity sherbert cleanser as the first step in an evening double cleanse for keeping my pores clear.

  3. Mary says:

#5 I completely agree with the article. I ask that question or some other version of it in all the interviews I conduct. I am not as concerned with what your “weakness” is as I am in your self-reflection abilities and willingness to figure out how to not let it ruin you.

  4. Lauren says:

Would love to hear your walking flats/shoe reviews from the London trip! Many of us are in summer vacation planning mode.

  5. ShannonS says:

For a weakness, I usually go with something I used to struggle with, but have resolved.

Like: “I’d say time management. But not in a sense of goofing off, but in a sense of getting enthusiastic, taking on too much all at once and getting overwhelmed. I learned that time management is largely about managing expectations and communication, so as I’m settling into a new position I ask my supervisor for check ins and to help me prioritize…”

Or, “I’m not a natural with technology, but I was tasked with being the database manager, so I did XYZ training, and ABC to practice, and found I actually enjoyed database work…”

Or, “Sometimes I let the perfect be the enemy of the good, and would spend too much time trying to craft an ideal piece of writing when it just needed to be well-written and clear. I would just get stuck. I have a strategy now of setting a time limit, doing another task, then going back to the writing and determining if it should be tweaked further or if it can go out as is.”

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

The Find: Shirts That Don’t Gape

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The idea seemed brilliant, but at the time, my bust didn’t require an extra button. One baby later, I understand the need for some extra security.
