I have used Meow Meow Tweet cream deodorant for a while now. I shop cruelty-free and even before I shopped CF I ended up using baby powder more often than not. I sweat and I found that the sticks all mixed with my body chemistry in a bad way and I ended up smelling funkier than if I used nothing at all. I do not have that problem with the Meow Meow Tweet cream. They also have a stick now!
GAH, I want that Chelsea top SO BAD, but I don’t need it.
I’m thinking about trying Native deodorant – would also love to hear people’s feedback!
Native deodorant is AMAZING. Profoundly, amazingly, wonderful. I’ve tried many natural deodorants and Native blows them all out of the water. It is a true game changer.
I started using Native this winter, though I had never really tried natural deodorants before. I would still get sweaty with my old deodorant/antiperspirant and sometimes even smell regardless, so I figured I might as well give it a shot. I have the Coconut Vanilla scent, and it smells AMAZING. It definitely wears off though, I’d say at about 16-18 hrs, so I’ll usually reapply before heading to the gym after work. And it does leave some white residue on dark clothes. We’ll see how it works in the warmer months, but I can definitely say that so far, it isn’t worse than any of the regular antiperspirants I’ve used in the past, and at least it isn’t full of toxins.
I just started using Native and I’m impressed. I sweat while riding my horse on Monday when it was 90+ degrees. But no odor afterwards.
I second Meow Meow Tweet. Also like Schmidt’s.
I’ve used this deodorant crystal for the past 10+ years and love it. I work out and play sports and never stink! Your body may need some time to get used to it, so give it a chance.

I’ve tried Lavanila’s stuff. It’s fine for a sedentary, low-stress day – but if you’ll be active OR have a have something intense going on at work – big meeting, stressful interactions with teammates, bosses, or clients – it won’t cut it.
I’m wearing Old Spice Bearglove, not the antiperspirant. I found it surprisingly non-masculine.
I use the Ursa Major deodorant and really like it, and have friends that swear by it as well. It goes on like a normal (chemical) deodorant and usually lasts well during the work day, but I carry it with me every day because I find that if I am going out or working out after work I’ll need to re-apply. I say go for it! 🙂
I use Schmidts (stick formula, not cream). It’s inexpensive and works great, even survives the gym.
I use Soft and Dri aluminum-free (not sure if that counts as “natural”). I made the switch after I got a fantastic pro tip from the dry cleaner. I brought in a hopelessly pit stained white silk blouse, and the dry cleaner said it isn’t sweat, but the aluminum in deodorant that causes pit stains. I ditched my aluminum deodorant about a year and a half ago and haven’t seen a pit stain since. The aluminum free doesn’t work quite as well as the regular kind, but for me the trade off was well worth it since I now don’t have to deal with pit stains anymore.
I’ve been using the Lavanilla stuff for a couple months. The ‘active’ one works pretty well for normal day wear, but I’d be open to trying others. The others are ok for about 8 hours and then i feel like i need to refresh.
I ditched my collection of 4 different prescription strength antiperspirants thanks to Piper Wei deodorant. It’s unique in that it contains charcoal. It makes it through hot yoga like a champ. I do feel like I need to reapply each morning, regardless of when I last showered, but it lasts all day. Love love love!
“Like fellow Bachelor parents JP and Ashley, Sean and Catherine have featured their baby in Instagram ads for brands like HelloFresh and Teami Blends tea.”
Gross.
Pro Tip: A trip to Germany may just be worth the discounts you can get on BOSS. (I work at a German company and I’ve literally sent coworkers with the names of dresses I like so they can purchase it for me.
What kind of discount are we talking, here?
I would say around $200. Bonus of course is if you buy them at a duty-free (there’s definitely one at the Stuttgart airport)
Very helpful, thank you.
I made the switch to natural deodorant about a year ago. At first I couldn’t use ones with baking soda without being irritated, so I have mostly used Meow Meow Tweet (the baking soda free one). Didn’t try Lavanilla bc the reviews seem consistently a little weak.
I feel fresher than I did with real deodorant. I also like putting rubbing alcohol and moisturizing toner under my arms a few days a week, kills everything so you smell fresh. Hand sanitizer also does REALLY well at that if you’re out an in a pinch.
