Seven Stylish Jackets for the Office Under-$100

Jan 25, 2017

When my work wardrobe needs a pick me up, I always choose a jacket or blazer.  Why?  Because you can layer a new topper over other pieces that you love to create a great new outfit.  It’s the perfect thing to perk up a favorite dress or get a few more miles out of a staple blouse.  And if you pick the right jacket, you don’t need to spend a fortune for a fashion boost.  Here are seven great picks all under-$100.

Can you do a version of this for good quality staple jackets that are still stylish, in the $100-$200 range?

  2. Cait says:

How did I not know Mango Outlet was a thing?! Is the quality comparable to regular Mango?

  3. TheLoop says:

Does Mango run a bit small and slim (like Theory) or is it true to size?

  4. Evelyn says:

In regards to Mango. Mango Outlet is just clothing on deep discount from regular prices. I wanted a pair of their wax coated jeans, but did not want to spend the full $100.00 on such a trendy item. I stalked them for months until they hit the outlet section at $30.00 and pulled the trigger at that point. I honestly don’t think the quality of the product justified the original price tag, so I’ll mostly shop the outlet section at this point .

As for sizing…..I shop their Violetta (plus size) range. I am 14-16 in straight size and purchased the jeans in size 16. I found the waist to be a bit big, but nothing that a trip to my tailor couldn’t fix. I’d suggest ordering your regular size and a size down and just returning what doesn’t work.

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
