Some readers have mentioned a decreasing quality in reading posts since we went to The Daily Eight.  I agree that sometimes I feel like I’m forcing choices to keep up with the volume.  So I thought I would bring back an old favorite two days per week to keep things fresh.

  5. Alison says:

Thank you so much for bringing this feature back!

  6. Mrs. Jones says:

I like this feature too. But does anyone else find saddle bags annoying? I hate having to lift the entire flap to access the inside of the bag. Maybe it’s just me.

    • a says:

Yes, this is why I look for ones that have a small back pocket that I can slide my phone into. I don’t mind opening up the bag to occasionally get my wallet and keys, but want to have my phone readily available.

    • Amanda says:

totally agree. zip tops all the way!

  7. Cindy says:

YAY!!! My favorite – thanks for bringing this back!

  8. Mallory says:

  10. Crystal says:

Love the refreshed feature! Definitely an oldie but goodie. Looking forward to more posts of similar items at different price points.

  11. LInds says:

Happy this is back, thank you! And lovely choices, I want that Kate Spade one so badly.

  12. Edna Mazur says:

I’ve missed this feature. I like the news stuff but definitely miss more substantive posts. Loving both today.

  13. Amy says:

Yes! Thank you for bringing this back!

  14. Denise says:

That Kate Spade bag is gorgeous. Oops, I just bought it… 😉

  15. LW says:

I forgot how much I loved this series. Nice addition!

  16. Jessica says:

I love this feature! Thanks for resurrecting!

  17. V says:

Also happy to see the return of this feature.

I have to admit, I’ve been avoiding the site because of the daily eight. I tend to get drawn in to news Roundups and want to read all of the linked items, which results in my losing a half hour of time at work instead of the two minute break I intended to take. To prevent that time loss, I just skip the posts altogether. But then I feel guilty that I’m not keeping up and slightly stressed that the unread posts count in my blog reader is high. It’s ridiculous to feel stress about this, but as someone who strives for an empty inbox everyday at work, it is a well-ingrained response.

  18. Lexi Carter says:

So glad this is back! My favorite!

Perfect for my high-end taste and low-end budget.

    • Maggie says:

This is me too. I love the links but it’s so easy to travel down a wormhole! But I love the return of this feature – thanks Belle!

  19. Kristen says:

Happy to see this feature return too! Thanks!

  20. Barbara Lisette says:

This was my favorite feature! So glad it is back!!

  21. Elisse says:

I am SO happy you’ve brought back this series! They are my absolute favorite.

  22. Ennayra says:

Thank you for bringing this back! I didn’t even know how much I missed it until I saw it! The Kate Spade bag is so pretty.

  23. Kristen says:

Oh bless you!!! I forgot all about this content section until I saw it again! It’s my absolute FAVORITE!!!!

  24. Bailey says:

So glad this is back one of my favorites!!

  25. MCW says:

This was the first feature I loved from your site back when I was a baby unpaid intern in 2010. Now that I’ve leveled up I’m excited you’re bringing it back!

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

The Find: Shirts That Don’t Gape

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The idea seemed brilliant, but at the time, my bust didn’t require an extra button. One baby later, I understand the need for some extra security.
