When your four-hour drive home takes seven hours, through a blazing snowstorm and blinding winds, surrounded by people who have never driven in these conditions before, watching cars go off the road right and left.  Then, you pull into your parents’ driveway, look at the sleeping puppy in the backseat and think, “We’re alive.  How did that happen?”

Stay safe out there, ladies.

8) This pink Himalayan rock salt cube and grater is such a fun gift for your favorite foodie.  Also, for an office White Elephant, try this 5-minute hourglass.

I kind of hate how much I love the red AT suit. (Also, I bought the grey tweed suit in the same cut from AT recently. It’s very flattering.)

  2. Anna says:

Ughhhhh, so many things I want to click on and they’re all blocked by the House firewall :(. I guess my productivity thanks you.

  3. Heather says:

I picked up that pouch at Target earlier this week – I had been on the hunt for a black clutch for weeks and this was perfect, plus a lot less expensive than the other options I was eyeing!

  4. Caroline says:

That happened to me coming home from work once, except it should have been a 20-minute drive and it took eight hours instead. At least your puppy was with you, instead of at home in the dark wondering where the hell you are!

  5. Pancakes says:

The story in #9 is absolutely crazy. What a nut and egotistical person that hacker is.

  6. pam says:

    Belle,
You mentioned an idea for the office holiday secret santa.. any more you could suggest!??

  7. Nancy says:

can you please check on the link for the Target pouch, it didn’t work when I clicked on it. I tried to find it by going to the Target website but not sure which one you are referring to.

I love stocking stuffers.  They are the best part of Christmas.  There’s just nothing quite like an affordable gift that’s funny or useful or chic (or maybe all three).  So here is Part One of my stocking stuffer gift guides, where nothing costs more than $30.
