1) I am so excited for the new movie Our Brand is Crisis.  It stars Sandra Bullock as a campaign strategist.  Originally written for George Clooney, it was rewritten for Bullock.  The trailer is awesome.

2) These leopard MK Flex pumps are perfect for fall, incredibly comfortable, and $120.  Sold.

3) Can rice really save your wet phone?

4) Belle’s best picks from The Limited new arrivals: This simple wrap top and these gorgeous (and affordable) burgundy trousers.

5) Traveling for work?  Levo League covers how to pack.  The Everygirl covers how to stay healthy on the road just in time for campaign season.

6) NYDJ has some amazing work dresses for winter.  I love this black origami sheath dress.  And this v-neck jersey dress looks chic and comfortable. (I’d shorten the sleeve a bit.)

7) Nine women discuss how to get (and keep) a job in PR, advertising, or marketing.

8) Maje is one of my favorite brands.  This embroidered cutout tee is sublime.  I love the knot belt on this a-line burgundy skirt.  And why not throw in a sophisticated cape as well?

9) Refinery29 talks about how women celebrate their successes.

10) I’ve decided Deborah Lippmann’s ‘Modern Love’ fingernail polish is my go-to polish for fall.  I’ll be wearing ‘Miss Independent’ on my toes.

11) Gabrielle Union discusses feeling like she wears a ‘scarlet letter’ for choosing her career over having children.  HuffPost explores why more women are looking for husbands who aren’t ‘career men.’

Eye Candy. Forget Cinderella, this Reem Acra gown comes sans the overly chipper Fairy Godmother.

I JUST heard about that Sandra Bullock movie at a panel discussion today about women’s representation in the media! I had never heard about it before. I might have to break my no-work-related entertainment rule.

The rice trick worked for me! I left my iphone in a full bag of rice overnight after it got soaked, and it dried out with no issues.

Thank you so much for the inclusion!! Hopefully some of your readers find it helpful! xx
