LOFT Marisa Ankle Fit Pants ($69)

I mentioned these pants briefly last week.  They finally arrived yesterday, and I love them (esp. the color).  This color also comes in their Julie fit for women with curvy hips and smaller waists.  Even though I’m pear-shaped, I went with the Marisa because I’m so long torsoed.

LOFT makes some of the best work pants on the market.  These tropical wool trousers are a must.

As for casual pants, these red cotton trousers are also kind of fun for summer.  And these triangle-print pants would be cute with a colored top.

I have these pants in dark green and I love them! Great recommendation!

  2. KC says:

How dressy are these pants? I can’t tell if they’re work-appropriate from the pictures. From some angles they look like trousers, and from others they look like a stretchy ponte material.

  3. Stephanie says:

I’m not very imaginative- what would I wear those pants with other than a white blouse, or like a black jacket?

    • Helena says:

A camel, ivory or blush colored top would look nicer than white or black, I think.

I have wool pants this color and I’ve worn mustard yellow sweater and a carolina blue sweater with them. If you’re looking to try different colors.

hi, love your page – however my office blocks shopstyle – curious as why you can’t directly use the stores direct site without having to go through them. Thanks 🙂

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
