Steve Madden Eeden Flats ($69, also in black)

I feel very strongly about the versatility of a snakeskin embossed shoe.  If you can find them in a nice mix of black, grey and white (off-white), you can wear the shoe with almost anything.  These flats mix that versatile pattern with a unique shape.

I also like these affordable flats from Express that have the texture of snakeskin in a grey hue.  And these Corso Como flats are a bit more casual with a round toe and perforations. (Bonus points for a memory foam footbed.)

Want a heel?  These Blink pumps from ASOS are sublime at an affordable $54.  I also like this black and white-dotted, embossed heel from Neiman Marcus.  These Chinese Laundry heels mix the texture of snakeskin with a pale gold color.  (They also look pretty comfortable with that slightly chunky heel.)

I totally agree. When I worked on the Hill and couldn’t afford a lot of fun shoes, having a snakeskin kitten heel with a small enough pattern in neutrals was the best investment I could have made. It really does go with everything and brings some excitement to single color suits.

I have the Express pair, as well as this one from Joe’s Jeans: https://m.joesjeans.com/kitty-iii/-2580457859141130763/product?utm_referrer=direct%2Fnot%20provided. I love the snakeskin texture on both. With the Express shoes, since they don’t come in half sizes I had to size up and use an insert.

Belle, I’m curious your opinion on these: https://www.fluevog.com/shop/4202-lynx-brown-snake. I’ve been eyeing them for a while because of the snakeskin but is the bootie on its way out?

I snagged a pair from Aldo on clearance a few weeks ago … love them! Black and white/gray snakeskin.
