I should have titled this post, “How long are things going to be weird around here?”
As you know, last week, I put all of my belongings on a truck and boarded a flight West. Instead of heading straight to my final destination, I stopped in MT to play babysitter to one very needy, but very sweet, Golden Retriever and pick up the car that I bought. (Oh yeah, I’m driving again. Be afraid.) Then, when the movers call on a to-be-determined day, I will drive a full day to meet my belongings before turning around and driving a full day to another city in Montana for a religious retreat next weekend.
Awesome, right?
So expect things to be weird around here until the second week of May. There will be posts. How many, I cannot guarantee, but there will be posts. And I’ll get to the reader emails filling up my box at some point this week, I promise.
Please bear with me as I uproot my entire life and move it across the country while caring for a dog, tending to my spiritual responsibilities and helping my brother prepare his house for sale. Oh yeah, I’m doing that too. My plate is officially full.
I hope all of you overachieving women are doing well and that you had a blessed Easter, a good Passover or just a great weekend. I will back in full force sometime in May. I can’t wait for things to get back to normal.
xoxo, Belle
Belle – if you wouldn’t mind sharing, just wondering what your religious background is? Thanks!
I am a Methodist, but I went to Catholic school, so I go to Mass sometimes as well.
Another question if you wouldn’t mind sharing: where are you moving to for school? (If you prefer to keep that private I totally understand, just curious). Congratulations, by the way! Sounds stressful but exciting, best of luck.
Stop keeping us in suspense! To which city/town are you moving? And any advice on purchasing a vehicle?
Thanks for the update. I think most of your readers will stick around. 🙂
You deserve a vacation! Thanks for working so hard for this blog. It is very much appreciated!
You have spoiled your readers, it’s true. But you’ve shared so much of yourself and your time in this space that I think those readers (including myself) would love to return the favor in some way. At the very least we can be supportive and encourage you to take your time and do what you need to do! THANK YOU.
Belle, you are amazing. I wish I had your kind of stamina, woman!! All the best with your move and everything else!
I did just what you are doing a few months ago, uprooting ones entire life and resettling is challenging to say the least!! Remember its one day at a time. I wish you the very best!
Belle, don’t forget to take deep breathes and get some good sleep. More than certain, we will be here when you get back.
Take the time that you need to take care of yourself for sure! And that adorable golden of yours. 🙂
