Gap Classic Pique Blazer ($88)

This classic cotton blazer from Gap comes in petite, tall and misses sizes.  It’s available in black and navy.  When I tried it on last week, I was impressed with the quality though, like most Gap products, you may want to size down.  But the look of the blazer is so classic that you’ll find yourself wearing it all the time.

Also in the under-$150 price range, I found a few more choices.  I like this Tommy Hilfiger two-button jacket.  J.Crew Factory also has a cotton blazer in this price point.  Need something under-$50?  Target has you covered.

Petite?  Banana Republic has a very lovely blazer with puff sleeves.  Plus-size?  Tahari has a great looking one-button blazer, as does Target’s Merona line ($39).  Tall?  In addition to the Gap jacket above, Eddie Bauer makes this collarless jacket in longer lengths.

I would love to see various ways to style a navy blazer. I struggle with not appearing stodgy when I wear mine. Thanks Belle!

Yay, Target! I always find them a surprisingly good option for low-budget office wear.

Perfect timing! I was about to start the hunt for a navy blazer to go with a dress I bought impulsively. Thanks Belle!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
