Target has some lovely outerwear for sale this spring.  This faux-leather jacket has cool details and an interesting quilted texture.  I also found this white faux-leather jacket with beige sleeves, which could be worn as an alternative to a suit jacket.  If you’re not a fan of white, they also make the jacket above in cognac and black.  Of course, the x-factor with faux-leather is always feel, something that’s hard to gauge until you see it in person.

If leather isn’t your look, Target also has a lovely selection of Barbour-style jackets.  This quilted navy topper is a nice, classic piece.  This coat has the look of a waxed field jacket.  I also liked this simple anorak in navy and khaki for under-$50.

Plus-size? This cinched waist jacket would be great over spring dresses on rainy days.  It also comes in petite sizes.

I couldn’t agree more! Target has been killing it lately. I just bought a bright yellow topper coat from there and I can’t wait for the weather to get warm enough for me to wear it!

  2. I hate fake leather (although it’s understandable if you are a vegetarian), but I love that Target jacket. And that price is great!

Jacket is NOT white – definitely more of an ivory tone. Returned it because it wasn’t white white.

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
