LOFT Textured Stripe Scarf ($39.50)
Since last week was such a big hit, I decided to post a second week of under-$50 items. Because regardless of budget, everyone loves a cheap thrill.
Scarves are a wonderful layering piece for fall, winter and spring. They can add color and texture to the most basic outfits. They’re also a great way to stay warm in chilly, air-conditioned offices during the summer months.
I adore the mix of neutrals on this striped scarf from LOFT. I also like this affordable cashmere & silk scarf from Nordstrom in a versatile black and white print. Nordstrom also has this color block scarf in five shades, including neutral Earth tones and muted colors.
If you’re looking for something under-$25, try this oversized Michael Stars scarf in a versatile ivory. Express also has some lovely scarves for $19, including this white scarf with a blue medallion border and this scarf with bold citron accents.
Yay, another under $50 week! I’m loving this, since I don’t have the kind of budget for the $400 scarves that most fashion bloggers seem to be able to afford. Thanks for keeping it real!

Go Belle go!
I’ll splurge on basic quality items that I know I will get a lot of use out of (LBD, suits, shoes, every day bag), but something like a scarf? Never!
Awesome post. I must admit, I’m a bit of a scarf collector (though my boyfriend seems to think its more along the lines of hoarding)
Regardless, Target also has some great scarves for affordable prices. I recently purchased this one and I am.in.love.

Always love reading your blog!
I just bought this lovely, neutral, bird-print scarf from sole society and haven’t taken it off since it arrived: https://www.solesociety.com/ss043-scarf-cream-black.html
