Gap Printed Tweed Moto Jacket ($118)

When you wear a jacket to work nearly every day, you can fall into a rut.  Blazer.  Blazer.  Blazer.  Blah.  This printed moto-jacket adds a bit of spice to your wardrobe without veering out of the work-appropriate lane.

I also like this Three Dots contrast moto-jacket, and this textured tweed jacket from LOFT.  Looking for navy?  Gap has one in plain tweed, as does Ann Taylor.

Want a moto-jacket for under-$50?  Forever21 has a cute one in blush pink.

Plus-size? Try these Sejour jackets in ponte and blended knit.  Petite?  Try this LOFT jacket in crepe (also in misses).  Tall?  The Gap jacket comes in your size.

  1. Anna Belle says:

I’ve been eyeing the Ann Taylor version for a while – and it’s on crazy sale! Do you, or anyone else, have sizing recommendations? It’s been a while since I have been to Ann Taylor and don’t know how generous or exact their sizing is…

  2. Stephanie says:

I always see these styled with jeans. The only work appropriate thing I can think to wear would be black pants, which seems sort of boring. Also, it seems like most shirts would be bulky underneath them because they are cropped. Any thoughts?

  3. Caroline says:

I tried this on and really wanted to like it, but it was overwhelming on my small frame. Might work on a non-petite woman though!

  4. JMW says:

FYI the LOFT version is not flattering. I had to take it back.

Add to Cart: Five Recent Amazon Purchases

Since my daughter was born, Amazon has claimed so much of my money that I had to buy stock just to get some of it back.  Between the formula, onesies, fruit pouches, diapers, wipes, and ever evolving list of baby development gear, I could not survive without Prime.   My husband no longer notices the […]
