Peppermint Bark Cookies ($23)

Some of the items in the Williams-Sonoma catalog are positively laughable, but their selection of delectable delights easily qualifies as “food porn.”  These peppermint bark cookies are a favorite of mine, and a crowd pleaser at holiday gatherings.  I’m also a huge fan of the camper grahams in their holiday chocolate assortment, and their peppermint chocolate whoopee pies.

Looking for a New Year’s Eve morning breakfast (too late for Xmas, sadly), how about a croissonut?  Who can resist a cross between a croissant and a donut?

And if you live near a Williams-Sonoma, stop by the day after Xmas.  I stock up on cookies at half-price and keep them in my freezer for when I need to celebrate Xmas in July.

The Range: Eyelet Tops for Summer

Airy eyelet fabrics are one of my favorite spring/summer looks. White is, of course, the traditional fabric. But white is tough to wear when you have a toddler, so let’s go with navy this summer.
