Chanel Le Vernis Nail Color in Provocation ($27)

For this gift, I exceeded the $25-limit just slightly.  I think designer nail polishes are a great gift because they allow you to give something with the Chanel, Dior or Givenchy name for a low price.

Also, to make the gift really special, go into Nordstrom (or another large dept. store) and ask for gift packaging for you polish.  With Chanel, they give you a lovely black ribbon and box that really makes the gift look special.  And if you don’t know what color to give, you can’t go wrong with classic red or pale pink.

Prefer to give a polish set?  I love this Julep set that comes with a deep burgundy and a sparkly rose gold polish.  I also found this Ciate set that contains dozens of many polishes in some fabulous colors.  But my favorite is this Deborah Lippmann Starlight set with sparkly polishes in lots of beautiful winter hues.

My husband put Chanel nail polish in my stocking a couple years. Loved it.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
