Do you think these are the type of shoes you can wear with tights/pantyhose? I have a couple pairs of the Sam Edelman ones which are similar (and super comfy) but I’m wondering how to transition them into winter. They look more like the third pair, with an open back.

    Thanks!

  2. Clementine says:

I’ve avoided shoes with ankle straps for a few years for fear that it will cut my legs off visually. I’m a runner with muscular calves- any ladies have tips on how to rock gorgeous pair of ankle strap shoes without feeling like I’m walking around on two tree trunks?

    • Heatherr says:

Rock the muscular calves that you worked so hard for. I have muscular calves, too, and get compliments on them all the time. I may not go for thi thick of a strap, but a slimmer strap at the smallest portion of your ankle will draw the eye there.

  3. Lea says:

Most ankle-strap shoes strike me as either too va-va-voom for work or horribly frumpy. Am I the only one?

  4. Jo Jo says:

Love the Rebbeca Taylor shoes, love ankle strap and the heel height…but need a narrow size. Very hard to find narrow shoes that are stylish.

  5. Sara Maude says:

Love these! I’m thinking of buying an ankle-strap pump but I’m hestitating between an open one like the ones you showed ore a more closed one (like a regular pump + an ankle strap)…

  6. PS says:

Macy’s has another one that’s quite similar, and quite affordable.

A few months ago, my husband killed two of my plants. I was out of town for several weeks, and while I was away, he apparently forgot that plants need water to live. So when I returned, my snake plant and my Calamondin tree were both dead, while his braided money tree continued to thrive. […]

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
