10th Commandment: September 16

Sep 16, 2013

I’m searching for a pair of leather or faux-leather accented leggings to wear under sweater dresses and tunic sweaters.  I thought about going for the all-leather look, but that didn’t strike me as being as comfortable as ponte and leather accents.

I got this tuxedo faux leather stripe ponte pant this weekend. (Joe Fresh – JCPenney – $26). They are fun and wildly comfortable! wore with white tank, denim jacket and leopard scarf to dinner last night. Great with booties or pumps. Perfect price for a short lived trend (IMHO).

i love these! don’t think i’ll be indulging in the leather trend this fall though.

btw, do you have any suggestions on sweater dresses that aren’t wool (i’m allergic) on the affordable side? (like under $50)

I’m so glad to see that you are looking into the leather pants/leggings! any suggestions on shoes to wear with them, too?

The Find: Bright and Striped

For the past few years, the wardrobes of many influencers have tilted toward the beige and boring.  I’m all for a good basic, but staple pieces can only take you so far.  Sometimes, you need to wear something that has a little something extra, and this sale-priced tee certainly does.
