A reader asked for some recommendations for ponte pants.  They’re a great alternative to leggings if you want something with more structure to wear under long tops or sweater dresses.

Also, I’m in Montana enjoying the last of the summer, so today will be the blog’s Friday.  We will also be off Monday for Labor Day, back Tuesday.  Have a fun and safe weekend!

do you think ponte pants are work appropriate? I want to be able to wear skinnier pants at work if possible but with structure like ponte

  2. Janine says:

Just a heads up, the links for both the plus-size and petite pant go to the NYDJ Jodie Pant.

  3. Jeanie says:

Belle, are you (shockingly) not a fan of J.Crew’s pixie pant? While I appreciate that it comes in short lengths and multiple neutrals, I can’t ever get it sized right to work on me and had always blamed my short, leg-muscley, pear shaped frame.

The Find: Bright and Striped

For the past few years, the wardrobes of many influencers have tilted toward the beige and boring.  I’m all for a good basic, but staple pieces can only take you so far.  Sometimes, you need to wear something that has a little something extra, and this sale-priced tee certainly does.
