I’m not entirely ready to talk about sweaters yet. But I am finding the best (BEST) knit sweaters in chunky textured and cable knits. From the pricey to the inexpensive, I cannot get enough of these cozy knits.

Vanessa Bruno Cable Knit Sweater ($347)
I also love this Vince open knit sweater that is also to die for.
Hill Staffer
Ami Dans La Rue Cable Knit ($172)
If you’re looking for a more feminine look, Ted Baker peplum sweater. Yeah, I said, peplum.
Paid Intern
The great thing about this look for fall/winter is that great pieces exist in ever price point. I’d also check out this BB Dakota speckly sweater.
Plus-size: This Land’s End Slub Sweater is the most modern and sophisticated of the choices available. Petite: Halogen has this slightly cropped cable knit sweater at a good price.

Gosh, that Vanessa Bruno sweater is beautiful but $347 is steep considering it’s 50% acrylic. Now I’m going to spend my day looking at sweaters and daydreaming about autumn. Thanks, Belle! 🙂

I have been looking for AGES for a good fisherman-style sweater and I found it, of all places, at LL Bean! I always assumed LLB was for moms, but am VERY pleased with it. https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/78360?feat=503658-GN2&page=marled-mix-stitch-sweater-pullover

It’s a bit cool in PA this morning. A sweater would have come in handy for the commute to work.

Any ideas for thhose of us who can’t wear wool (Not even cashmere)?

Most of what they sell at Zara or Mango is acrylic. Try there.

The peplum sweater is cute. I can see that being worn a lot to a casual workplace and off-hours. It’s a little more stylish than the regular cable styles.
